User identification

  • For MathType for Google Workspace, MathType for Microsoft365, MathType for LMS and MathType Integrations site installations, we do not have means to personally identify our end users. We just identify the institution that owns the license.
  • For MathType 7 for Windows and Mac site installations, the admin may or may not give us a name and email address for each MathType installation, so customers are in control of whether they give us personal information of the end users.
  • For single licenses of MathType for Office Tools (MathType for Google Works, MathType for Microsoft365, MathType7 for Windows and Mac), we identify the license owners through their email address. This will most likely be the same person as the end-user.
