Installation instructions: WIRIS plugin for Moodle 1.x

These instructions are also valid to perform an update.

1 Requirements

  • Moodle 1.6 or higher installed.
    Check installation instructions for Moodle 2.x .
  • A valid license to install the plugin in a production environment; otherwise, you can use the downloaded file just for demo purposes.

2 Copy files

Unzip the WIRIS plugin into your moodle root directory.

3 Check read/write permissions

Check that PHP user has read and write rights on pluginwiris directory, filter directory and lib/weblib.php file.

4 Installing

Open http://your_server/moodle_path/pluginwiris/install.php on your web browser and follow the steps.
For example  http://www.your_school.edu/moodle/pluginwiris/install.php
