WIRIS math tools in Moodlerooms

Add formulas, interactive calculations and graphics to your web contents created with Moodlerooms.

WIRIS adds two buttons to your HTML editor. The tools are thus available throughout the platform whenever you create or edit any type of content, from a web page to a forum comment.

How to activate WIRIS tools in Moodlerooms?

We have made this process a piece of cake. Just log in with administrator rights, and then:

1. Go to the section Site Administration > Modules > Filters > Manage filters : Find WIRIS in the list of filters and click on the closed eye in order to open it and thus activate the filter.
2. Go to the section Site Administration > Modules > Filters > Wiris : Activate the tools that you wish to use by clicking on the checkboxes.

NOTE that WIRIS formulas are stored in your local cache. If you select the option Clear cache, these formulas will be created anew. This operation is provided for maintenance support, but your users will hardly notice any difference.
