Just in time for the summer break, we have just released WIRIS quizzes for Moodle 2, the first out-of-the-box integration of the new functionalities of this tool.

WIRIS quizzes is now available for Moodle 2.

We haven't just adapted our tool from Moodle 1.9 to Moodle 2. We have taken the chance to greatly improve its functionality:

  1. Automatic assessment (as previously)
  2. Random parameters (as previously)
     
  3. NEW compatibility with mobile devices
  4. NEW answer format control: simplified, factorised, etc.
  5. NEW physical units in the answers
  6. NEW easy definition of numerical precision
  7. NEW easy localisation of your symbols
Give the new version a try in our Moodle 2 DEMO SITE. You'll only regret we're not part of the Moodle Headquarters... ;-)

WIRIS collection grows into STEM collection

WIRIS collection keeps growing and it contains now over 3,000 free exercises. Two new languages have been added to the six existing ones: Basque and Portuguese.

As a result, we are moving the collection to a new domain, namely STEMcollection.com and very soon we'll be adding a lot more editorial content into this platform to complement the work of teachers that it now hosts.

We'll be glad to have you participate and share your work or dowload the work of others. Plus, participating can make you win free WIRIS suite licences for your institution.
