Austria is a Central Europe country with 8.3 million citizens.

Education Highway is a public company in Austria taking care of many ICT projects. Since late 2007 they are offering all Austrian schools access to a German version of WIRIS. The project includes WIRIS access but also teacher training, content creation and many other related activities. This is part of the www.schule.at project.

WIRIS offers calculation and mathematical content services from wiris.schule.at since December 2007.
